Sanabria Chris is currently
employed at Triquint Semiconductor Inc. in
Dallas, TX. He was awarded the Ph.D. in
Electrical Engineering in June 2006 for his thesis entitled "Noise
in AlGaN/GaN HEMTs and Oscillators" |

Dr. Hongtao Xu
Hongtao is currently
employed at Intel in Hillsboro, OR. He was awarded the Ph.D.
in Electrical Engineering in Sept 2005 for his thesis entitled "MMICs
using GaN HEMTS and Thin-FIlm BST Capacitors" |

Dr. Peter Hansen Pete was
co-advised by Prof. York and Prof. Jim Speck, and is currently
employed at Inogen Inc. in Goleta, CA. He was awarded the Ph.D. in
Materials in March 2004 for his thesis entitled "Integration of
high k and polar oxides with gallium nitride" |

Dr. Troy R. Taylor. Troy was
co-advised by Prof. York and Prof. Jim Speck, and is currently
employed at Teledyne (formerly Rockwell Science Center) in
Thousand Oaks, CA. He was awarded the Ph.D. in
Materials in December 2003 for his thesis entitled "Stoichiometry
and thermal mismatch effects on sputtered barium strontium titanate
thin films"

Dr. Vicki Chen. Vicki is currently employed at
Agile Materials and Technologies in Goleta, CA. She was awarded
the Ph.D. in June 2003
for her thesis "K-band Spatial
Combiner using Active Array Modules in an oversized rectangular
waveguide".

Paolo Maccarini.
Paolo is currently an Associate
Professor at Duke University. He was awarded his Ph.D. in December
2002, for his thesis entitled "Advances in
Nonlinear Phased Arrays".

Dr. Pengcheng Jia. Pengcheng is currently the Chief
Technical Officer at CAP Wireless in Thousand
Oaks, CA. He was awarded his Ph.D. in September of 2002
with the thesis "Broadband
High Power Amplifiers Using Spatial Power Combing Technique".

Dr. Yu (Bruce) Liu. Bruce is currently employed at Texas
Instruments in Dallas. He was awarded his PhD in 2002 for
his work entitled "MEMS and BST
Technologies for Microwave Applications".

Dr. Baki Acikel. Baki is currently employed at Lockheed
Martin in Philadelphia, PA. He was awarded a PhD in August
2002 for this thesis "High
Performance Barium Strontium Titanate Varactor Technology for Low Cost
Circuit Applications".

at Skyworks, Inc., Newbury Park, CA. She was
awarded her PhD degree in December 2000
with her thesis entitled, "AlGaN/GaN

Power Amplifiers."

Amit S. Nagra. Amit is
currently employed at Phasebridge, Pasadena, CA. He was awarded
his PhD degree in 1999 with his thesis entitled, "Varactor based
Technologies for the Tuning and Control of Microwave Circuits and
Antennas."

Dr. Nai-Shuo (Nick) Cheng. Nick is currently a Senior Manager
at SST Communications, Inc.. He was
awarded his PhD degree in 1999 with his thesis
entitled, "Waveguide-Based
Spatial Power Combiners."

Dr. Angelos Alexanian. Angelos is currently employed at Anokiwave,
Boston MA. He received his
BS degree from Virginia Tech, VA, and MSEE degree from University of
Michigan, MI, in 1991 and 1993. In 1997, he was awarded his PhD degree
with his dissertation entitled, "Planar
and Distributed Spatial Power Combiners."

Chang. Henry spent 2 years in
the York Group and completed his dissertation with Prof. Yeh, entitled "Noise and
Stability Analysis of Coupled Oscillators"

Dr. Huan-Shang (Corey) Tsai. He is currently employed at Infinera,
Sunnyvale, CA. He
received his BS degree in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan
University, Taiwan, in 1990 and was awarded his PhD degree in 1995 with
his thesis entitled, "FDTD
Analysis of Quasi- Optical Amplifier Arrays."

Laboratories, Malibu, CA. He was awarded his PhD degree in 1995 with
his thesis entitled, "Analysis and
Design of Coupled Microwave Oscillators."

in 1989. He was awarded his PhD degree from UCSB in 1995 with his

Petzold,
MS. Shannon was awarded a
Masters degree in 2003 with her thesis entitled, "One-Half
Wavelength Helical Antenna with Nulling Capabilities for GPS
Applications". She is currently
employed at Toyon Research Corp. in Goleta, CA.

Justin Serraiocco,
MS. Justin
was awarded his MS Degree in 2003. His masters thesis was
entitled "Compact
phse-shifter deign using Barium Strontium Titanate
Thin-Film Varactors". He is currently employed by Remec Corp.

Buckwalter, MS. Jim was
awarded his Masters degree in 2003.
His undergraduate studies
were completed at Caltech, and Jim returned to
Caltech for his PhD.

Erich Erker, MS. Eric was
awarded his Masters degree in 1999. His undergraduate studies
were completed at Technische Universitat Wien.

Zachan, MS. Jeff is
currently employed at Conexant Systems, Inc., Newport Beach, CA in the
GSM RFIC Design Group . He was awarded his Masters degree in 1999.

Eric Shapiro. Eric was
awarded his Masters degree in 1997 with his thesis entitled, "A
High-Efficiency Traveling Wave Power Amplifer Topology Using Improved
Power Combining Techniques".

Eric Hufstedler. Eric was
awarded his Masters degree in 1996. His undergraduate studies
were completed at Ohio State University, 1994 NSF Graduate
Fellowship Recipient.

Ron Munroe. Ron was
awarded
his Masters degree in 1995 with his thesis entitled, "Gyromagnetic
Quasi-Optical Beam-Switch" His undergraduate studies were completed
at Worcester Polytechnical Institute, 1986.

awarded his Masters degree in 1993 with his thesis entitled,
"Cavity-backed Slot Antennas". His undergraduate studies were
completed at the University of Michigan in 1989.
