Local Alignment
Here are the steps needed to do local alignment with the nanofab's GCA 6300 I-Line Wafer Stepper. Local alignment is not quicker, so if you use the cleanroom very regularly you can probably do just as well (if not better) than local alignment. However, using it means getting repeatable 0.1 to 0.2 um alignment with no rotation error.
Matlab 3D EM Wave GUI
This is a collection of Matlab script (*.m) files that make a GUI that displays an EM wave through N median, given material parameters and a few other basics. Unzip in a directory, in Matlab navigate to the directory, then type "start_program" at the Matlab prompt to run. I created this on a large screen before I learned about absolute resizing for different size screens, so you may have to readjust the screen size. For a screen shot, click here.
Transmission Line IV Calculator++
Another GUI program (again, unzip and type "start_program" at the Matlab prompt). This one plots I, V, power, reflections, a Smith Chart, and other "useful information" for N transmission lines. For a screen shot, click here.
